Want to increase your income from each and every ebook you write? Of course you do. Let’s look at four simple ways you can do this.
1. Sell a pre-launch version of your ebook. I always recommend to writers that they start selling the ebook while they’re writing it. You can do this very easily by creating a blog.
A blog is a way to generate some buzz about your ebook before your official launch. Your blog gives you the opportunity to get feedback from your readers, so you can learn more about what they want to see in your ebook.
When you promote your ebook this way, you have a chance to offer a pre-launch special offer. Start a mailing list for potential buyers before you’re ready for your actual launch. Come up with an irresistible offer for them. When you are ready to launch your ebook, send an email to these subscribers to let them know it’s available. Since they already signed up as showing interest, many will buy it.
2. Make an ezine out of the information in your ebook. After you have launched and have begun to sell ebooks, think about capitalizing on what you’ve written. One simple way is to use your topic to write a monthly ezine. Write twelve issues or more, and offer the ezine as an additional option for your buyers.
Two options for you are to offer the ezine as an upsell to buyers, or it can even be a new, separate product people subscribe to.
3. Turn your ebook into a series of podcasts. Podcasts (downloadable audio files, often in MP3 format) are appealing to buyers because they don’t need to be sitting at their computer. They can take the audio with them and listen to it while they commute, or while they’re exercising.
Of course if you know how, and don’t mind the process, you can create your podcasts yourself. Or if you’re OK spending some money, you can pay someone to do it for you. Either way, you can increase your income with podcasts.
4. Write a follow-up, advanced version of your ebook. Many buyers are going to want more information than what is in your ebook. So, consider creating an advanced version. This follow-up can be completely new, related information, or it can go into more detail about what was in your first ebook.
As an example, if you sell ebooks on how to diet, the advanced version can be about diet plans, include recipes, etc. Remember, you have a new product. You can sell it separately from the original ebook, or you can offer it as an upsell.
So there you have four ways in which you can make more money from every ebook you write.

Would you believe that you can write your own ebook in just one day? You can, and these tips can show you how. Your first ebook can be a little scary, but imagine the surge of confidence when you’re finished. And in just 24 hours.
Several writers I know have been working on ebooks for at least a year. Will they ever complete their ebooks? It’s doubtful: they’ve lost their inspiration. Once that’s gone, it’s hard to get it back.
One thought to take hold of is that an ebook is an information product. It’s not a “poor man’s” book. It’s short and focused, and your reader should be able to take quick action on the information. Here are some points to help you get your ebook created in 24 hours.
The first thing to think about is this: What information do you have, that other people would pay for? This part isn’t always easy because we often take what we know for granted. You may not think much of it, but it can be helpful to someone else.
So grab a cup of tea and put your feet up. Fire up your computer or take out your pen, and reflect on what you have learned throughout your life. Maybe your dear old granny taught you everything she knows about cooking, and the two of you spent every weekend in the kitchen when you were a kid, baking apple pies. As simple as that, you’ve got your ebook.
Keep thinking, and write out a list of possibilities. Maybe spend thirty or forty minutes on this. In this short amount of time, you may come up with a dozen or more ideas. Then, just pick one and go with it. Don’t over-analyze. It may seem boring to you, but that doesn’t matter. There are plenty of other people who are looking for that information, and are willing to pay for it.
Next, create an outline. It doesn’t really have to be anything more than a list of whatever information belongs in your ebook. Now, build from there. Fill in the gaps — just write.
Now, look at what you have. If you’ve covered everything you planned, the information is complete, and it’s at least ten pages or longer, then you’re finished with the main body of your ebook.
Now that you’re finished with the body, go ahead and write the introduction. Use some space to get your reader excited and inspired about the topic. Tell a story or two about the great times you had in the kitchen with granny, for example.
Once you’ve finished the introduction, your ebook writing is finished. Spend a few minutes writing titles for it. Shoot for 20 to 30 possibilities and pick one.
Your ebook is finished. Spend some time proofing it. Try reading it out loud, maybe even record yourself and listen to it. Spend a little time tweaking it, add a little, remove a little, do some editing. When it’s as good as you think you can get it, you’re done.
Try reading your book out loud to a couple of friends or family members. Does it make sense to them? If it does, all you need to do is convert it to a PDF and you’ve got your first ebook, ready to sell, in just one day.

Want to make great money writing? You can when you write ebooks. Ebooks are big business online. Buyers want information and they’re happy to buy it in ebook form because they get instant gratification.
Some ten years ago, a copywriting client hired me to write ebooks for him. It was enjoyable, and I became known as an ebook writer for hire. Soon I realized that if I was writing for others, I could write my own ebooks and electronic info products, and could sell them. I got a great education when I created these products for others: I got paid to learn.
Unfortunately many ebooks will never sell more than ten copies, for a number of reasons. There’s a lot involved in creating best-selling ebooks, and you need to learn what works.
Start out by writing ebooks for others. Businesses which sell ebooks need writers, and they find them on the outsourcing sites. Once you get a couple of jobs writing ebooks for others, you’ll discover how the process of creating a salable ebook works.
Some of your clients will be developing their first ebook. Others will have been through this process several times before. Either type of client offers a lot of potential for you.
Don’t worry about the time spent writing for others. Think of it as on-the-job education as you work toward your million-dollar ebook creation career.
As you do these work-for-hire ebooks, other ebook subjects will come to light. As time allows, list them and figure out which ones will make money for you. Remember, you need to produce what people are willing to buy.
Do some research to find out what people have already bought in your subject area. Online forums will show you whether people are really interested in the subject. If they’re talking about it online, they’ll probably pay to learn more.
As you learn which subjects are salable and produce ebooks about them, you can make a healthy income. Have fun with this great chance that is open to everyone, including you.

While you may know how to write ebook products, you may not have thought much about why you should. Even if you hated English composition, you’d benefit from creating at least one ebook.
Ebooks were mooted as the “next big thing” in the 1990s, and I’ve been happily writing them for many years. Today, they are the big thing: we all need information, and electronic books let us consume that information wherever we are, and whenever we wish. The benefits of writing ebooks are enormous. Let’s look at what they are.
1. There’s nothing like being the author of a book to establish your credibility. Whether it is a regular book or an ebook, having your name on an ebook shows that you know a lot about your subject matter.
2. If you want a promotional item that helps keep you in the mind of your clients and potential clients, you can do no better than producing a well-written ebook. You’ll come to mind when they need the services you offer.
3. Ebooks are quick to produce. Unlike traditional books, you can quickly write an ebook in a week or even less. All you need to do is write a series of articles and compile them into a logical sequence, joined by a cover and table of contents. You don’t have to wait forever for the finished product to come back from a printer.
4. Ebooks are lucrative. They are very inexpensive to produce and, because they are largely self-published, you keep all the profits for yourself. You don’t have to worry about a publisher or distributor to see your words in print. What could you do with those extra funds?
5. Because ebooks are generally distributed online, they are a great way to establish your corner of the World Wide Web, where seemingly everyone is searching for usable information. By gathering the contact information from those who buy your ebook, you will know who is interested in other services you may have to offer.
6. Ebooks are an excellent way to warm up for larger writing projects. If you’ve written articles, want to take on larger projects but don’t feel ready to commit to a full-length traditional book, ebooks are an excellent way to get some book experience on a smaller scale. Ebooks can be 10 to 50 pages long rather than 100 pages or more.
Ebook writing is ideal for writers and business owners for these and many other reasons. Everyone wants to write a book someday. Why not take the plunge and start your ebook today?

Can you really make money writing? Absolutely! In fact, there has never been a better time to start building a great income. One of the best of these opportunities is writing and selling ebooks. Read on to find out more.
Many people still envision writers as starving in a garret while trying to become the next Shakespeare or Dickens. They think life as a writer involves waiting months before a publishing house issues yet another rejection slip. They couldn’t be more wrong.
Although I enjoy many different forms of writing, creating ebooks is my favorite form, because of the feedback. It’s ten years since I sold my first ebook online, and the feedback from readers was almost instant. The big benefit of chatting with your readers is that they give you ideas for additional information products you can create.
While writing a best-selling novel is still the dream for most writers, there are countless other ways to make a great income as a writer. ebooks are taking the place of traditional books. This is a great boon to writers because they can publish and distribute the books themselves. Readers can readily download those books instantly to their computers and e-readers.
In addition, because ebooks often cost more than traditional books so writers can actually earn more. Readers are more than willing to pay for information they can access instantly.
Ebooks are also quick and easy to write. Say you want to write an ebook about raising chickens. Think about what a beginning chicken farmer would want to know (for example, selecting a breed, feeding techniques etc.) Write articles on those subjects and then organize them in a sensible manner. Compile them into ebook form and you have your own ebook. Many people can write an ebook in a week or less.
Marketing and selling an ebook is easy, too. There are many websites designed to help writers find affiliates for their products. They merely need to register their ebooks with the site according to the site’s directions. People look for products to market, select the ebooks best suited to their website or blog and arrange to have a link to the ebook embedded in their website. When a visitor to that website clicks on that link and buys the ebook, the website owner generally gets a share of the profits.
Having affiliates market your ebook helps you to get it into the hands of those who want or need the information you have to sell. The affiliates also win because they earn extra income by helping you sell your product. Readers also win because they can quickly obtain the information they need to know.
Ebooks are a great way to make money online. They are easy to create and can be sold easily for a surprising amount of money. What are you waiting for? Start your ebook now.
