Good holiday reading material for this summer
Holidays provide the perfect opportunity to get away for a while, forget about work and just relax. It is a great way to recharge the batteries and sit in the sun for a while with a cold drink, some music and a good book. Choosing the right books is obviously important then and there are plenty of good new books to consider for this year and of course there are some fantastic older ones which everyone should read at some point.
One set of books to consider is the Harry Potter series. Although they were originally intended for younger people they have become a worldwide sensation with people of all ages becoming huge fans. If you don’t think the Harry Potter novels will be your thing then Stieg Larsson’s Millennium trilogy is another series which has suddenly become huge. The three books have had such popularity that they have already been turned into films and those films are already being remade with much larger budgets. Before seeing the big screen versions why not experience the originals that made the series so popular.

Jobs revolutionised the way we communicate, shop, travel and many other things too but his story wasn’t one of constant success. If you’re looking for something completely different you might want to consider what has been called one of the most important books of the 20th century? Jack Kerouac’s On the Road is a masterpiece detailing multiple road trips across America which were fuelled by poetry, jazz, drugs or a combination of all three.
