If you are going to be spending quite a bit of time on a train soon then you may be interested to find out about things that will prevent boredom setting in. If you want to listen to something but don’t want to buy audio books then you can find thousands of free podcasts that you can listen to on your MP3 player instead.

- Bring along a mobile gaming device and that way you can pass the time playing your favourite video games. You won’t realise where the time has gone when you are playing one of these games because you can get so involved in them.

- Bring along a mobile video playing device. Time will zoom by while you watch a TV show or a movie of your choice.

- By a multimedia mobile device. There are a number of these devices available such as the iPad or iPhone and these will let you do all the things that these other devices do such as play games, surf the internet, watch videos, or read eBooks to name a few.
